Psychology Survey Management System
This is a multi-user system for creating and running multiple surveys. It supports saving survey measurements to the sytem for easy reuse, multiple users with varying levels of access, password protected deployment of surveys, and many other features. It is meant to be an quick and easy way to deploy surveys within a closed environment, like a college psychology department that uses a participant pool of students taking classes. This system isn't complete due to funding issues, but is for sale. Contact me to arrange a demostration.
Dr. Keith Payne's AMP implemented in Flash
The AMP is an implicit measurement utilizing stimulus pictures and neutral symbols. I implemented this measurement in Flash, using a user-edittable XML file for task definition to allow easy modification and adaptibility. The Flash program allows changes in the timing of each picture, the number of pictures, instruction text between picture runs, and the actual pictures to use. This Flash AMP has been used with the ANES to measure political bias, and will also be used in studies by Dr. Barbara Fredrickson and Dr. Sara Algoe, adapted to use both pictures and textual stimulii.
Picture rating survey
This was a quickly implemented survey for rating a set of pictures. This survey featured randomized picture order, randomized question order per participant, participant time tracking, and redirection to a third-party survey system. Time to first prototype was 2 hours, with constant refinements over time.
Positivity: Website
This website was developed for Barbara Fredrickson's new book, Positivity:. The primary feature is the ability for users to track positivity measurements over time as well as add events that are all displayed on a scrolling, zoomable Flash graph. Users can signup at PositivityRatio.com
